Why should I book with you?
Combined we have over 10 years experience and we are both very reliable and professional.
How long will the trial last?
The makeup trial will last around an 1 hour and 15 minutes and the hair trial will last around 1-2 hours and will contain up to 3 different looks.
What should I expect at the trial?
We will talk you through each step of the trial to check that you are happy with how the look is coming together. At any point if you would prefer to change any aspect please don't hesitate to ask. The aim of our trial is to make sure we are perfecting your look. We will then make some notes and take pictures so we can refer back to them on your big day!
Are your artists insured?
We are yes.
Do I pay for the travel and parking for the artists?
Unfortunately yes. If the venue is outside of York then we may advise of a travel charge. If the venue requires a parking charge we will add this to the final costs.
What products do the artists use?
We don’t use any particular brands but a wide range of high quality products are used.
If I’m not happy with the trial am I committed to book?
No but the trial cost would unfortunately apply.
How long should I allow for hair and makeup on the day?
We will advise the time we will arrive and we always like to get everyone ready around an hour before the wedding as this leaves time for final touch ups and photographs. Makeup takes around 1 hour and hair is around 1 hour for the bride and 30-45 minutes for the bridesmaids.
If I don’t need lashes does this reduce the cost?
Lashes are complimentary so unfortunately we cannot offer any discount if they are not required.
I already have my hair or makeup booked elsewhere so can I book in for just solely hair or makeup?
Yes of course. If you already have either your hair or makeup booked in elsewhere we can still provide you with either other service.
